Rescue and Dive Master
RESCUE DIVER
Build both confidence and experience by getting your PADI® Rescue Diver certification
In the PADI Rescue Diver course, you’ll build on your existing emergency prevention and management skills.
You’ll develop accident prevention and management skills that include self-rescue, assisting a buddy and working within a team during an emergency response. Your training will focus on scenarios in which you adapt rescue techniques to your personal strengths and adjust to the situation.
The next class starts June 1. There will be 3 classroom, 2 pool and 2 Open Water Sessions. $275 covers certification fee, books, and tuition.
DIVEMASTER
With your PADI Rescue Diver certification, you're also eligible to Go PRO –taking the first step towards becoming a scuba professional by earning your PADI Divemaster rating. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities and qualifies you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. This intense class covers academics, dive theory, watermanship, dive skills, and will involve classroom, pool and open water training. You'll also participate in an internship program that will have you assisting classes and leading dives.

PADI has increased the requirements for the Dive Master rating. Minimum requirements include 18 years old, 40 logged dives to start the class, 60 logged dives (upon completions), EFR Certification or Equivalent, Oxygen Provider or equivalent, Rescue Diver Certification, Deep and Search & Recovery Specialty experience. Ask about a Package Program to fit your needs to meet all the requirements!
You will also have the option to do your Dive Theory on line.
We have the Divemaster class underway now. We can schedule another in August.
The price for the Dive Master Class includes Books, Pool Training, Classroom, and Ocean Training. Not included are boat trips, equipment, the PADI Application Fee. The price for the Dive Master Course, with Discover Scuba Internship is $699. Add Emergency Oxygen Provider for $60. We also require Project Aware certification which is included in the class. Limited to 8 students. .
